Duties and responsibilities:

  • Handle several telephone calls, emails and messages through our accounts on social media and online travel agencies channels at any given time
  • Complete a room reservation for any given time period knowing what types of accommodation, rates and special services are available
  • Properly code all said reservations as to the rate type, source, travel agent, etc.
  • Recite all information regarding hotel facilities, hours of operation, key personnel, special activities and functions in the hotel
  • Determine what a potential guest is looking for in room accommodations and participate in problem solving situations while keeping the Reservations Manager well informed
  • Utilize the guest history programme to ensure maximum accuracy and recognition
  • Utilize the computer system in retrieving and updating room reservations
  • Process internal reservations, complementary room requests and group blocks travel agent discounts

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Respond to guest support needs with the highest level of timeliness, hospitality, accuracy and professionalism making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel best practices
  • Accommodate special requests whenever possible and resolves guest complaints
  • Process packages, messages and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner; stores and retrieves guest packages, luggage, flowers, etc.
  • Coordinate the retrieval of guest’s vehicles
  • Ensure that information for vendors, restaurants, local businesses, etc. are updated and current. 
  • Be knowledgeable about what activities are available in the local vicinity and establish close relationships with local businesses in order to provide information, transportation, ticketing and reservations for guests, in addition to our hotel services
